Artist Statement
My work is a continuous exploration of the interplay between light, lens, and the human narrative. I believe that every photograph is a dialogue—a moment frozen in time that speaks to the shared experiences of vulnerability, joy, and transition. Whether capturing the quiet intimacy of a Fresh 48 session or the vibrant energy of a community milestone, my approach is rooted in the belief that authenticity is the most powerful aesthetic.
Studying Studio Art at the University of Indianapolis has refined my technical understanding, yet my intuition remains my primary guide. I am drawn to the subtle textures of reality: the way natural light falls across a room, the genuine laughter of a senior student on the cusp of adulthood, and the profound silence of a newborn's first days. These are not merely subjects; they are stories that deserve to be told with clarity and respect.
In a world often saturated with fleeting digital imagery, I strive to create photographs that possess a lasting weight. My goal is for every client to see themselves not as they appear for a pose, but as they truly are in their most honest moments.
